Roubaix Sports – La Manufacture

The exhibition at La Manufacture de Roubaix explores the history of sports that have shaped the city from the 19th century to the present day, in connection with its rich industrial past. The scenography incorporates symbolic objects and interactive devices, encouraging visitors to physically engage with the content. Combining freestanding walls, textile materials, and a graphic frieze on recyclable cardboard panels, the scenographic approach echoes Roubaix’s textile heritage while integrating sports visuals. A dynamic color scheme and silhouettes of athletes in motion animate the exhibition, celebrating the evolution of sports practices in the city.
